“The songs that we sing, do they mean anything to the people we’re singing them to?” – Charlotte Gainsbourg
Growing up in the 90s, I was immersed in the world of Hardcore Punk and Alternative Rock. This music was my constant companion, helping me to feel and process emotions like anger, frustration, anxiety, sadness, loneliness, and even romantic feelings.
The credo was simple: Be real, live it all. I wanted to feel alive and experience life to its fullest. That spirit still burns within me. I have a deep appreciation for raw, edgy, and intense beauty. I embrace the weird, the odd, and the dark, finding beauty in the unconventional.
This spirit is what I strive to capture in my photography. I want my work to reflect the same raw intensity and emotional depth that music once provided me, conveying the beauty of living intentionally.
