Firstly, I want to clarify something. The depiction of beauty<\/a> is not the same as a beautiful depiction. I\u2019ve been working with models for more than five years now, and I\u2019ve seen countless pictures of beautiful people. Yet, most of them don\u2019t touch me; I don\u2019t feel any emotional connection to them. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

There’s a distinction between a beautiful person and a beautiful image. While physical attractiveness may catch our eye, it’s the emotional resonance within an image that truly captivates us. Whether it’s joy, sadness, or anger, every emotion has the potential to be transformed into something inherently beautiful through the lens of creativity. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

This led me to an insight – it\u2019s the way we create something that is beautiful, that transcends the superficial and delves into the realm of emotion and meaning. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

We can capture sadness, anger, and all these dark emotions that we have as human beings, and we can make something beautiful out of that. We can even take something that is not inherently beautiful and create something that is perceived as beautiful. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Creating beauty and being part of this process is something I love that I am grateful for and that I want to master. Being a photographer, who is working together with a model<\/a>, we are creating something that is beyond physical attraction. Our work allows others to connect not only with what we did on an emotional level\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

“Beauty lies in the eye of the beholder,” what matters is that the viewers experience something that distracts them from their everyday life, maybe detaches them from the struggles they have at the moment, or even provides them with a space that allows them to feel something more deeply within themselves \u2013some emotions they were afraid to have.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This is when our work becomes a transformative experience. You may call this art, and you may call me an artist. But I don\u2019t see myself that way. For me, photography<\/a> is a service that provides you with a sense of calm, solace, and some sort of well-being through my work. It\u2019s my gift to the world.
